“Boss in the Making.” I look to express the good, bad, and ugly of not just writing, but becoming an entrepreneur. I look to encourage other women to following their dreams and passions while learning to become profitable along the way. It is my desire to share the difficult experiences as well as the exciting ones with others in the hopes that they will learn and apply something to their own journey. I also encourage creating multiple income streams in whatever way is beneficial, rather than in whatever way are most common or popular.

The “Boss in the Making” podcast focuses on Baxley’s overall journey towards building a sustainable income in entrepreneurship through authorship, podcasting, and in future webinars and other engagements. Her books are spiritual inspiration and entertainment while the “Boss in the Making” podcast is dedicated to encourage others towards chasing their dreams and embracing their own creative. “That is exactly what I want to portray to my audience “Embrace Your Creativity.” Embracing what our own passions are and allowing them to sustain us financially is something we can all do given the right dedication and resources. I am not currently making money via my podcasts however over the next month I intend to monetize by allowing ad space and sponsorships,” Baxley told LookWeAreIncluded.com.
The vision I have for my podcast is that it [will] reach hundreds to thousands [of people] in order to encourage and uplift. I do see my podcast generating income and being able to do more than one episode per week consistently.
Question and Answer Segment with CEO Felicia Baxley
LookWeAreIncluded.com: Did you have any fears before starting your business and how many copies of your first book did you sell?
Felicia Baxley: The biggest fear I ever had was failing. Being rejected or looked at as if I wasn’t qualified to write what kept me from publishing for a while. I wrote my first book in 2018 but didn’t publish it until [January 2020]. So far I have sold over 200 copies in the first month. In addition to the royalties from my book, I still work my full time job, accept donations, and also have intentions to start offering sponsorships and paid advertising on my podcast within the next month. My current published book is “The Help Meet.” I have also recently announced the publication of my next book “Waiting or Warfare” that is scheduled to be released in the next two months.
LookWeAreIncluded.com: What events are you expected to attend? Where can your followers meet you?
Felicia Baxley: [In the past] I had a few book signings and [registered as] a vendor [on] my first publication. I am accepting offers to attend women conferences, networking events, and a as well as church events that accept vendors.
LookWeAreIncludedcom: What would you like your followers to know?
Felicia Baxley: I’m not different from anyone else. I haven’t already arrived which is why it is important to me to reach as many people as possible now so they can see the growth for themselves. We tend to look at the end result of where a company or entrepreneur is but don’t see the hard work that goes in to getting to that place. I don’t want to wait until I have started generating large numbers to be able to inspire people, I want to be able to inspire them right now to start their own journey along with me.
