On a mission to help students excel in education, one man created a program to ensure scholars had confidence and knowledge to excel in mathematics.
In 2015, Paul Caliste created Next Level Math Tutoring, hosting in-person tutoring in Monroe, Louisiana and now offering virtual sessions on Google Meet for people around the world.
“I have tutored over 150 students since becoming an LLC five years ago, as well as countless others since I started tutoring math 16 years ago for my high school as a sophomore,” Caliste said.
Along with many years of tutoring experience, Caliste also has a range of credentials to back him. He not only received his B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences with a Minor in Mathematics at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, but he also scored in the top 20% nationally in the GRE Qualitative Reasoning, and the top 15% nationally in the PRAXIS Series ETS Recognition of Excellence: Mathematics Content knowledge.
Caliste also has served as a middle and high school teacher for several years in Louisiana.
For high school & college students struggling with the transition to online math instruction, we are offering a FREE one-hour trial session for first-time users of our online video call service!

Next Level Math Tutoring LLC – Services
Next Level Math Tutoring provides various tutoring services for students ranging from elementary school (starting at the third grade level) to college, including:
- Integrated Math
- Algebra I & II
Next Level Math Tutoring LLC also provides test prep sessions for adults seeking to achieve desired scores in the following exam portions:
- ACT Math
- PRAXIS Math
- GRE Math
- ASVAB Math
- HiSET Math
- LEAP Math
Caliste also encourages those seeking his tutoring services to join sessions virtually on Google Meet. “It is very similar to Zoom. It allows me to communicate with students face-to-face using the screenshare feature, which allows students with online assignments to share the problems they need help with in real time,” Caliste said. “Simultaneously, I can share anything they need to see worked out or assign additional practice problems using a whiteboard application.”
Ultimately for Caliste, there’s no better feeling than hearing how his tutoring sessions helped another student succeed in mathematics.
“I have multiple online testimonials from parents, detailing how worried they were about their children’s grades at one point, but were so relieved and overjoyed about how much their child’s math grade was able to improve. I also have a couple of success stories of seniors who were in danger of not graduating because they were failing their math class but were successfully able to pass their class after seeking out my tutoring.”
