‘A Place Where Everyone is Included’
2021 has been a year of promotions and career changes for a lot of people and one journalist in Baltimore is definitely making his mark in media.
Brian Waters was recently named Associate Producer at Spotify working on the Ringer Wresting Show. A digital music, podcast, and video service that gives you access to millions of songs and other content from creators all over the world.
As a graduate from Morgan State University, a historically black institution in Baltimore, Maryland he is making history in the Communications Department by adding Spotify on his resume.
For the last 10 years, Waters created and has been working on his own show called the ‘The Wrestling Wrealm‘ a digital show for Superior Wrestling Intellect. His love for Sports didn’t limit him to just Football and Basketball, but he found a lane that drew his audience bigger and bigger through wrestling.
Before this transition, Waters worked at Johns Hopkins Marketing and Communications department. He also worked at Fox Sports, CBS Sports, and is the Multimedia Director for Christian Memorial Church.
His commitment to young journalists is also key factor for his support base. Waters is an active mentor in the Baltimore Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Black Journalists.
