A new producer is in town with Brion Humphrey joining the WFXR-TV promotions team in Virginia.

The 31-year-old communications professional talked about his amazing journey that helped fast track his career into what it is today.
“My journey has been challenging, but rewarding,” Humphrey said. “I’ve had the opportunity to experience things that most people never would and share stories that would otherwise have gone untold.”
Humphrey has a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications/ Media Studies and Music from Norfolk State University, where he served as President of the NSU Chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta National Honors Society.
While at NSU, he also served as President of Chi Alpha Christian Fraternity, member of the Norfolk State University Concert Choir, and was elected as Mr. NSU Honors College. In addition to his academic achievements, Humphrey also has quite a professional career.

Prior to joining the WFXR team, Humphrey was the Video Production Manager at Waters Edge Church in Yorktown, Virginia.
Humphrey has also held the following roles:
- WVEC-TV 13 NewsNow as a News Photographer/Editor
- WSET-TV as a News Photographer
- Freelance Public Relations and Media Specialist
In his new role at WFXR, Humphrey will be creating content for their FOX station and the CW.
