Since it’s successful introduction into the world by Christopher Strachey in 1951, AI technology has evolved into what we know today.
We use AI technology in our everyday lives for all sorts of apps, voice/speech recognition software, ride-sharing, imagery, gps navigation, and much more.
AI technology is also used to update and share real-time data for companies, hospitals, law enforcement agencies, and several government entities.
Some are even beginning to use AI technology to replace everyday human tasks such as automatically ordering food and making deliveries like Amazon.
One of the more popular AI technologies that seems to be a fan favorite in recent months is ChatGPT.
ChatGPT is a natural language processing tool driven by AI technology that allows you to have human-like conversations and much more with a chatbot. The language model can answer questions, and assist you with tasks such as composing emails, essays, and code.
According to simplilearn.com, ” The AI market will grow to a $190 billion industry by 2025 with global spending on cognitive and AI systems reaching over $57 billion in 2023. With AI spreading its wings across sectors, new jobs will be created in development, programming, testing, support and maintenance, to name a few.”
ChatGPT is even being used across different sectors of journalism and media to create short stories and animated images for different mediums.
According to demandsage.com, Chat GPT had 100 million users in January 2023, and it is expected to have $200 million in revenue by the end of the year.
