The Chicago native earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign, and a Masters in Social Work from Loyola University.
Addison says the most difficult thing about getting started was just simply knowing how, but once she started she managed to get things in order.

During the 2020 COVID- 19 pandemic, her brand began to expand into the virtual realm by offering online coaching and training programs, as well as collaborations.
In 2013, Addison was chosen one out of 27 chapters and thousands of members internationally to be named speaker of the year by SPAA (Speakers, Publishers, & Authors Association) for her work of attending events, traveling, and speaking on behalf of the organization.

Addison is taking her coaching to a new level in January 2024 by opening, You Can University, that is geared toward pushing millions into believing in their dreams and getting started on actually building them. As the coach of You Can, Addison will help aspiring life coaches, authors, and speakers get into their desired field. Through her monthly subscription, motivational training, and direction, many businesses will be birthed.
