Who said heterosexual men, or men in general can’t enjoy the feeling of buying and wearing high heels in public?
Meet Mark Bryan, a mechanical engineer, American football coach, and married heterosexual father of three who enjoys wearing high heels for his own pleasure.
When in public, Bryan is often prejudged and people often misinterpret his choice of style by assuming he’s apart of the LBGTQ+ community without even speaking one word to him.
In an interview with StyleLikeU, Bryan said, “There’s a lot of men out there that want to wear women’s clothes – what I’m trying to do is get where people are used to seeing a man wearing high heels … “.
Outside of Bryan, there are several other men across the world that enjoy wearing high heels whether it’s for personal pleasure, fashion statements, or in solidarity with a cause.
Your love for one clothing item or another doesn’t have to be based on the gender you were assigned at birth. It should always be based on your personal style and comfort level.
Showing true individualism in today’s society is brave, bold and commendable on so many levels. Having the freedom to just be who you truly are is life changing to say the least.
So heterosexual men – near, far, and in between; wear your heels with your head held high and your confidence on full display regardless of what the naysayers think!
