On the morning of August 26, 2026, a wall of water and mud came crashing down the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river valleys in Nepal, swallowing homes, bridges, and roads in a matter of minutes. What started as a routine Wednesday for families in the Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts turned into one of the deadliest natural disasters Nepal has faced in years. What Triggered the Flood
