Nina M. Addison stands as a beacon of empowerment, defying limitations and inspiring countless lives through her unwavering determination and faith. Born with a physical difference, Nina embraced her uniqueness as a catalyst for positive change. Growing up in Chicago, she was driven by a profound sense of purpose to uplift and transform lives.
Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a background in Social Work from Loyola University, Nina embarked on a mission to make a difference.

She founded the nonprofit organization “T.O.U.C.H. NFP,” later rebranded as “Youth Can,” dedicated to fostering positive family interactions and empowering youth.
Through her platform “Nina Motivates,” Nina embarked on a journey to inspire others to live their best lives across all facets – personally, mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Her passion for youth and young adults led her to develop a plethora of programs aimed at instilling self-worth, life skills, and entrepreneurship.

A prolific author, Nina has penned numerous books, including “From the Mind to the Mouth” and “Because I Love Me.” Her contributions extend beyond the written word, as she served as the President of the Chicago South SPAA and co-hosted various empowerment platforms, including talk radio shows and television programs.
