Danone U.S. has issued a voluntary recall of So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster pints after finding small stones and other hard objects in the cashew pieces — the same issue that prompted a recall of the product back in December.
Danone U.S. is voluntarily recalling pints of its So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert due to the potential presence of foreign material, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The recall, announced September 15, marks the second time in less than a year that the same product has been pulled for the same reason.
Why the Product Was Recalled
According to the FDA notice, the recall covers pints with best-by dates on or before April 3, 2028, due to the potential presence of “small stones and other hard objects” within the cashew inclusions used in the dessert. The issue was identified through consumer complaints, and Danone reported it to the FDA before initiating the voluntary recall.
The company said no other So Delicious Dairy Free codes, flavors, or products are affected — only the Salted Caramel Cluster pints tied to the specified best-by dates.
