What began as a way to earn extra income during a difficult season has grown into Tresses by Gaia, a hair business built around confidence, education, and helping women better understand their hair.
The founder had already been doing hair since high school when she decided to take a chance on herself. She created an Instagram page, began accepting clients, and turned an existing skill into a growing business — despite starting without a full portfolio, established clientele, or formal business plan.
Within her first year, Tresses by Gaia served more than 200 clients, showing how quickly that leap of faith developed into something bigger.
