In a world where possibilities are endless, Vashanti Taylor is a multi-faceted black woman who effortlessly juggles the roles of devoted mother, grandmother, loving wife of 23 years, tenacious entrepreneur, master crochet braider, motivational speaker, and comedian.
Taylor has expertly intertwined the threads of her responsibilities, creating a harmonious blend of domestic bliss and professional prowess for over 15 years as an entrepreneur; then again after she took a leap of faith and left her job in the mortgage industry 10 years ago to pursue her dreams full time.
Whether she is home tending to family, on the stage, or behind a braiding chair, Taylor approaches each of her passions with an unwavering dedication and a sense of pride.
As an Illinois native, Taylor earned her Bachelor of Arts from Trinity International University in 2016. She also has volunteered at Victory Cathedral Worship Center as a Women’s Ministry Coordinator plus Salvation Army Joliet as a Women’s Group leader. Since Illinois is where she put down her roots, it only made sense for Taylor to open up her company. IAMVashanti Entertainment in the greater Chicago area.
Being the Jane of all trades that she is, Taylor is also the author of a motivation book, ” Change Your Mind, Change Your Life,” that is aimed at changing the lives of its readers by motivating them to set attainable goals and achieve them by identifying and eliminating obstacles that are in your way.
Taylor not only spreads positivity through her writings, but also through her teachings and the ministry she teaches on a daily basis to all that she comes in contact with. She is a believer through and through, and lives by the saying, “Life is a journey in which we must travel daily with purpose, laughter, and determination!”
Through her comedic talents, Taylor has been able to go spaces she normally wouldn’t, and this has led to her reaching over 5,000 people and counting.
On a personal level Vashanti also coaches through group coaching or individual to teaches skills that are
interchangeable no matter the desired outcome. Goals, accountability, and community is what she promotes to help take life to the next level.
In the future, Taylor hopes to increase her brand’s visibility through her social media platforms and premiere on national television thus becoming a worldwide sensation.
